Sealmax +

Sealmax+ is a bioceramic root canal sealing material based on Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA), supplied in both powder and resin forms. When the powder and resin are combined, they create a root canal sealing material known for its outstanding sealing capacity and tissue compatibility. Due to its close adaptation to the canal walls and hydrophobic nature, Sealmax+ facilitates a secure and tight seal during the obturation process.

• 3g powder, 5ml liquid and dispensing scoop  

Properties & Advantages :  

• Filled with Bio-ceramics (MTA): Contains more than 20% of bio-ceramic material.  
• No moisture required for setting: Activators in powders makes resin set.  
• Calcium hydroxide release on surface when encounters moisture: Bio-ceramic fillers on surface when exposed to moisture releases ions and this raises pH of exposed surface, this also helps in inhibiting bacterial growth.  
• Favors bone formation: Ion release enhances bone formation.  
• Eugenol free: No long-term post operative pain reported till date.  
• Grain free.  
• Ideal handling properties.  
• Excellent radiopacity.  

Indications :  

• To seal the root canals of teeth.  

Intended Use :  

• Sealing of root canals during obturation in the secondary dentition with or without the aid of obturation points (gutta-percha).

• Best before 2 years from the date of manufacturing
