Direction To Use :
- Prepare the syringe: Ensure the syringe is clean and sterile before use.
- Load the cartridge: Remove the cap from the dental cartridge containing the local anesthetic solution. Insert the cartridge into the syringe barrel, aligning it properly.
- Attach the needle: Attach a sterile dental needle to the syringe by twisting it onto the threaded hub at the end of the syringe barrel. Ensure it is securely attached.
- Expel air and prime the syringe: To remove air bubbles from the syringe, gently tap the barrel to allow any trapped air to rise to the top. Slowly depress the plunger until a small amount of solution comes out of the needle, making sure there are no air bubbles.
- Aspiration: Once the needle is properly inserted into the desired injection site, apply gentle pressure on the plunger to begin aspiration. Slowly pull the plunger back while maintaining a firm grip on the thumb ring and finger grip.
- Observe for aspiration: As you pull the plunger back, watch for the presence of blood in the syringe barrel. If blood appears, it indicates that the needle is in a blood vessel, and injection should be halted and repositioned.
- Administer the anesthetic: If no blood is aspirated, slowly and steadily inject the local anesthetic solution by pushing the plunger forward. Maintain a controlled and even pressure during the injection.
