SafeEndo Hexachlor is formulated for use in endodontic procedures, serving as a liquid for irrigating and cleaning root canals. It efficiently removes non-vital pulp debris during mechanical canal widening. HEXACLOR ensures effective sterilization of the root canal system without compromising the adhesion of filling materials to tooth tissues.
- The solution contains Chlorhexidine Digluconate, an antiseptic that inhibits anaerobic flora in root canals, displaying activity against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It retains its effectiveness in blood and pus. When diluted 100 times to a concentration of 0.2%, Chlorhexidine Digluconate 20% demonstrates a potent antimicrobial effect on inflammatory mucous surfaces of the mouth.
- It's essential to note that Chlorhexidine Digluconate remains active in a neutral environment and is incompatible with alkalis, including Calcium Hydroxide. The efficacy of Chlorhexidine Digluconate diminishes when the pH level is equal to or higher than 8.
