SafeEndo Smart Etch, a 37% phosphoric etchant gel, is designed for enamel and/or dentin etching, following the instructions provided with various dental adhesive systems.

Within 15-30 seconds of gel application, enamel turns chalky, enhancing surface roughness for improved restoration material adhesion. On dentin, the gel forms acid phosphates with calcium, removing the smear layer, opening dentinal tubules, and altering the dentin surface. This ensures strong adhesion of restorative materials to both tooth dentin and enamel. Smart Etch is water-based, easily removable with water and air. Direction to Use :

• A small amount of gel is applied on the prepared and dried enamel surface (contact time 30 sec) or dentin surface (contact time 15 sec).
• For dentine and enamel treatment, contact time is 30-45 sec.
• Wash the gel off with water and dry it with compressed air.
