EDTAsalts are the key component in this solution. Upon injection into dentin, EDTA forms a complex with calcium, gently loosening the structure of hard tooth tissues. This facilitates easier enlargement of calcified and sclerotic canal orifices, leading to efficient cleaning and the formation of accessible tooth canals. The lubricating agent is especially beneficial for endodontic instruments. The water-soluble paste base ensures quick and easy canal washing. Smart Prep paste, when used with Carbamide peroxide and sodium hypochlorite solution, produces a foaming action due to the active release of chloride and oxygen. This dental product is designed for use in the challenging biological environment with a temperature range of 32°C to 42°C (in the oral cavity at a temperature of (37±1)°C) and humidity between 60-90%.

Direction to Use :

STEP 1 :

• Isolate the tooth by using a choice of separation technique.
• Proceed with an access opening and identify the canals.

STEP 2 :

• Attach the unit dose dispenser with the Smart Prep Paste. Before use, always check for snug-fitting to prevent any leakage.

STEP 3:

• For better dispensing of Smart Prep Paste, always hold the syringe in the palm firmly and use the pressure of the palm for controlled delivery.

STEP 4:

• Once you have identified the orifice, apply the Smar Prep Paste into the canal opening using a unit-dose dispenser.

STEP 5:

• Gently negotiate the canal with the help of endodontic files.

STEP 6:

• Always replenish with Smart Prep Paste in between subsequent endodontic files.

STEP 7:

• Once the canal shaping is done, flush the Smart Prep Paste out of the canal with sodium hypochlorite and distilled water.

STEP 8:

• Finish the bio-mechanical preparation with the choice of disinfectant to clean the canals.

STEP 9:

• Dry the canal and proceed with the choice of obturation technique.
