Waldent Calcium Hydroxide Powder

Calcium hydroxide powder, when mixed with distilled water, forms a white paste used as temporary root canal dressing. It aims to eliminate lingering microorganisms and prevent reinfection, primarily due to its alkaline pH. The typical duration of the temporary treatment ranges from 1 to 3 weeks.

Direction To Use

Prepare a moderately stiff paste by  mixing Calcium Hydroxide Powder with sterile water . Introduce the paste into the canal, packing the paste against the periapical tissue. Close the tooth with a temporary filling material and recall the patient in 2 weeks.
