Indications :

• Gumshield is indicated for creating a protective barrier on the gingival surface to safeguard it during a wide range of dental procedures.
• It is commonly utilized in dental treatments such as teeth whitening (bleaching), placement of composite fillings.
• It is especially useful when restorative materials need to be placed in close proximity to the gum line, ensuring a clean and isolated working area.

Contraindicatins :

• Do not use Gumshield resin-based barrier on patients with known sensitivity to methacrylates or other resins.

• Urethane Dimethacrylate
• Triethylene Glycol Dimethacrylate
• Fumed Silica (Fillers)
• Silanated Barium Glass Powder (Fillers)
• Pigments, Curing Agents (Initiators), and stabilizers

Storage

• Store in a cool and dry place
• Store at room temperature of 5-30°C
• Do not freeze
• Store away from direct sunlight

Packaging

• 1 x 2gm Syringe
• 4 x Black Tip (20 gauge)

Driection to Use

• Clean and dry the gums before applying the gingival barrier.
• Apply the barrier carefully, by making sure to cover the entire area to be isolated
• Cure the material using a fanning motion with a dental curing light in standard mode for 20–30 seconds.
• Once the procedure is complete, remove the barrier using a scaler or a curette.
• Clean the area properly to ensure there is no remaining barrier material left on the surface.
